A death should be registered within five days. This is not always possible but should be done as soon as it is possible. Since COVID the process has changed. Please click on the link below for more information.

Our local area is serviced by four crematoria: 

Cheltenham, Kingsdown Swindon, North Wiltshire Wootton Bassett and Gloucester.

Cirencester is served by 2 cemeteries, Chesterton and Stratton. Stratton is now closed for new interments except for existing double graves or cremated remains interments. 

Tetbury, Lechlade and Nortleach have their own cemeteries but space is starting to become an issue. 

Fairford cemetery is now closed for new burials.
