An unattended funeral or a "Direct Cremation" as it sometimes referred to is a very simple funeral.
This option will not suit some families and yet will be perfect for others.
It allows for the simplest of funerals with no family or friends attending.*
The cremation would normally take place at a local crematorium very often Kingsdown in Swindon. The date and time of the service is dictated by the Crematorium or Funeral Director.
Before the Funeral
Our dedicated team of trained and experienced staff are on hand at all times to support you and give you guidance on all matters related to the funeral.
Preparation of all legal documentation required by law for the cremation to take place and arranging all other necessary paper work.
Our private vehicle to bring your loved one from a private residence, hospital or nursing home back into our care. (No additional fee within a 25 mile radius of Cirencester).
Care and preparation of your loved one ready for the funeral. This can include dressing in their own clothes should the family wish.
A suitable simple coffin is normally chosen but this can be altered to a more elaborate coffin from our range.

At the Funeral
The required staff present on the day to ensure the smooth running of the event. This will included trained Funeral Directors, bearers and drivers.

Provision of our hearse, chapel visits and the family can attend "outside the crematorium chapel"
